Description Primitive Baptist Baptism. According to information supplied by Mr. Gerry Ackerman, this is a photograph of a Primitive Baptist Baptism which took place during a Camp Meeting around 1920 - 1930. The location is Brim (now Claudville) Virginia. Those being baptised are standing in the water, possibly a pond or river, while many others watch from along the bank.
