"Old Hollow" Stewart's Creek Primitive Baptist Church - Shutter on "Old Hollow" Stewart's Creek Primitive Baptist Church, located west of Mount Airy off Hwy. 89 to south in the vicinity of Toast. The deed is said to have been made in 1794, and the present building was erected around 1889. This picture was made for the Bicentennial in 1976. State Record 1389.

Conrad, the man who bought the First Baptist Church (colored), Mount Airy, N.C., which was sold under deed of trust amounting to $1165. The inscription below the picture includes: "A man who believes in holding to the Churches, a man who stands well with all the denominations, a man who knows how to get people into the Church and will tell you how to save theChurch of God and the people. A great Revivalist. Hear him."
