Old Hollow Primitive Baptist Church - Stewart's Creek Primitive Baptist Church - "Old Hollow." located just west of Mount Airy off Hwy. 89 to south. Deed said to have been made in 1794. Original church said to be used by black congregation in "hollow" on north side. Note on the back of the picture states that it is probably the oldest Baptist congregation in Surry County. The picture was taken for the Bicentennial in 1976. State Record 1389.

The deed is said to have been made in 1794, and the present building was erected around 1889. This picture was made for the Bicentennial in 1976. State Record 1389.
